Compliance procedures for preferred vendors and contracts remain an area of concern for large companies. They continue to focus on ways of managing indirect spend including the use of strategic sourcing programs. One way of enhancing compliance is to enact a ‘Smart PO Policy’. Prior to joining Global eProcure, Ata worked in Accenture’s Supply Chain Practice for several years. He has worked with clients in the CPG, industrial, high-tech, government, financial, mining and energy industries. He has led projects covering spend analysis, global sourcing, contract compliance and savings tracking, vendor management and change management. He has also led procurement outsourcing programs. Ata holds an MBA from the University of Michigan (Ross) and a BS from Wake Forest University.
