Please call audio technical support at 1-800-374-2441, select option 3 and reference your conference ID#.

I am hearing impaired and require assistance.

If you require services for the hearing impaired, please send an e-mail request to medicare.ttt@palmettogba.com no later than 3 business days before the event.

Registration issues

I just registered for a CMS teleconference, what happens next?

You will receive an email confirmation that includes:

  • A toll free phone number to call.
  • A conference ID# that may be required to join the call.

If you are unable to find your confirmation email message, try looking in your spam folder. If your organization is using an anti-SPAM security product it may classify and treat e-mails from our automated registration system as SPAM (Unsolicited Commercial Email).

This causes e-mails to skip your Inbox. If you have signed up for an event and don't see the confirmation e-mail we sent you, check your SPAM folder or Junk folder for any messages related to the event you registered for. Depending on the filter you are using, you may be able to designate the e-mail as Not SPAM or add the Sender to your Safe Senders so that CMS teleconference emails will appear in your Inbox as requested.

If you continue to have issues receiving e-mails from any events hosted on www.eventsvc.com or have issues registering, please contact InterCall Registration Support at technicalsupport@intercall.com. Please include in your message the event date, title and a description of the issue. Your email will be responded to within 24 hours.

How do I unregister for my event?

Thank you for helping CMS spend federal tax dollars wisely. Check your confirmation or reminder notifications for an unregister link.

I'm trying to register multiple people for one meeting but when I try to register the second or third person, I get a message telling me that I'm already registered. What's going on?

If you are planning to sit in with a group, only one person should register to minimize the cost of the call to CMS.

If you are registering multiple people who will not be attending together in a group:  after you register one person, the registration system places a cookie in your browser that prohibits multiple registrations. To get around this problem:


For Internet Explorer

  1. Select "Internet Options."
  2. Click on "Delete..." under "Browsing history."
  3. Click on "Delete cookies."


For Firefox

  1. Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser window.
  2. Select "Options."
  3. Click on "Clear Recent History."
  4. Select the "Cookies" check box.
  5. Click on "Clear Now."


For Safari

  1. Click on the circular gear icon in the upper right hand corner of your browser window.
  2. Select "Reset Safari."
  3. De-select everything except for "Remove all cookies."
  4. Click on "Reset."


For Google Chrome

  1. Click on the wrench (tools) icon in the upper right hand corner of your browser window.
  2. Select "Options."
  3. Click on the "Clear Browsing Data..." button.
  4. De-select everything except for "Delete cookies and other site data."
  5. Click on "Clear browsing data."
  6. Click on "close."

 

I need to change the email address I supplied when I registered.

Check your confirmation or reminder notifications for an unregister link. You will need to unregister for the event and immediately re-register with your preferred email address.

I am trying to register but it says registration is closed.

Once registration is closed, you will be unable to attend the live teleconference.

CMS usually posts a transcript of the call and a recording on a CMS web page about the conference topic approximately 3 weeks after a call. Check the CMS website.

Should you need immediate registration assistance at the time of a live event, please contact Registration Support at 1-800-493-1594 and reference the event host (CMS), event title, and event date.

General Questions

I missed the event or cannot attend at the scheduled time. Will there be a recording?

If a recording is available it will be posted on the CMS website along with transcript approximately 3 weeks after the event.

I am registered to participate but selected an incorrect time zone. How can I change the time zone?

It is not a problem that you registered with a different time zone. Just be sure to dial in about 10 minutes prior to the start of the call, based on Eastern Time.

Am I approved to provide CEUs, CLE or other type of Continuing Education credits for the event I registered for?

Continuing Education Credits

Continuing education credits may be awarded by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) for participation in CMS National Provider Conference calls.

Continuing Education Information for American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)

If you have attended or are planning to attend one of the CMS’ National Provider Conference Calls, you should be aware that CMS does not provide certificates of attendance for these calls. Instead, the AAPC will accept your e-mailed confirmation and call description as proof of participation.  Please retain a copy of your e-mailed confirmation for these calls as the AAPC will request them for any conference call you entered into your CEU Tracker if you are chosen for CEU verification.  Members are awarded one (1) CEU per hour of participation.

Continuing Education Information for American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

AHIMA credential-holders may claim 1 CEU per 60 minutes of attendance at an educational program.  Maintain documentation about the program for verification purposes in the event of an audit.  A program does not need to be pre-approved by AHIMA, nor does a CEU certificate need to be provided, in order to claim AHIMA CEU credit.  For detailed information about AHIMA’s CEU requirements, see the Recertification Guide on AHIMA’s web site.

Is there a downloadable presentation for the event that I registered for?

If there is a downloadable presentation, CMS will announce this on the registration website and in the reminder notices you receive.

I wish to submit questions to CMS.

For many calls, CMS offers you the ability to type your questions when you registered. There is no guarantee that all questions will be answered.  Most CMS calls open the lines to questions at the end of the call; this is your only other opportunity to ask questions as part of the teleconference.
